A lot of Richmonders already think they live in the best town ever, and soon Outside Magazine may agree. The magazine, which caters to outdoor recreation, has named Richmond among ten finalists for the “Best Town Ever” award. The public will have until July 9th to decide a winner.
Users must “like” Outside’s Facebook page before voting for their favorite city. Doing so will give voters a chance to win a five-day trip of their choice to one of the ten cities.

- Hood River, Oregon
- Missoula, Montana
- Boise, Idaho
- Nevada City, California
- Durango, Colorado
- Ithaca, New York
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Asheville, North Carolina
