RVA Biscuit Love to help the homeless on Valentine’s Day

We’ve always known that biscuits were a force of good in the world.

Last year they did it with pancakes, this year they’re doing it with biscuits. The results are the same, folks that need some help in Richmond are getting a helping hand.

From Facebook:

Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love and we want to spread it within the Richmond community. This Valentine’s Day, we’re creating a pop-up restaurant for the homeless. We’ll be serving biscuits and gravy complete with live music, cake pops, and a clothing drive.

How can you help? Sign-up to be a volunteer, donate a coat, socks, gloves, or other winter items, donate money for food and clothing, or make some Valentines to pass out to our diners.

To volunteer head here. They’re in need of pop up tents, tables, chairs, plasticware, volunteer biscuit slingers, coffee, blankets, scarves, sleeping bags, gloves , socks and anything else you would like to donate to share your Valentines love with those in need.

The biscuits and gravy are coming courtesy of culinary heavy-hitters Early Bird, Talley’s, Pasture, and Saison.
