RTD dines at Les Crepes

A bit of French flavor in your mouth.

From RTD:

Savory crêpes come with creative fillings: the burger crêpe ($9.90) is stuffed with ground beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled tomatoes, caramelized onions, lettuce and a red pepper sauce; the lasagna ($9.50) is filled with bolognese sauce and cheeses. There’s even a slow-roasted barbecue pulled pork crêpe (9.50).

Gluten-free and lactose-free crêpes also are available.

The flavor profiles in the Cocorico ($11.90) crêpe coalesced harmoniously — chicken breast with sweet mango chutney, apple, caramelized onions and melting buttery Brie holding it all together. Chewy cubes of overcooked chicken and a shortage of apple put a damper on the dish.

The final score is 2.5 out of 4. I’m not what you’d call a crepe kind of guy so haven’t given them a try. Has anybody else been?
