Richmond’s newest Collared Greens

A North Carolina clothing company is staking a claim in Richmond for its environmentally friendly line.

Men’s apparel company Collared Greens recently opened its first retail store in Richmond to sell their line of American-made bow ties, neckties, polos, and more. The North Carolina company uses environmentally minded materials and makes all of its products domestically.

The company also operates its own conservation initiative, CG/24, that donates 1 percent of sales and 1 percent of profits to organizations like the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Polar Bears International,1 and more.

While this is the first exclusive store for Collared Greens, the company’s products are carried in over 150 retail stores nationwide as well as through its online store. Men’s polos run $75, ties $85, bow ties $55, and belts $78.

Collared Greens is located at 5707 Grove Avenue.
