Richmond Police investigating weekend vandalism in Scott’s Addition

Multiple windshields were shattered and graffiti was left behind on several walls in the neighborhood.

From WTVR:

Richmond police are investigating multiple reports of vandalism in Scott’s Addition this weekend.

WTVR CBS 6 crews spotted four cars with shattered windshields on Myers Street Sunday morning.  People who work in the area said they have fallen victim to the vandals a number of times in the last year.

Chelsey Marx, who  works nearby, said spray paint and busted windows are not the only issues.

Business owners in the area say better lighting and a heightened police presence is needed.
