Predator and prey
Nature is awesome.
This picture was taken yesterday near BonAir. Depending on where you food chain allegiance lies it has a happy ending.
According to the photographer Stephen, both critters stood still like this for three minutes. The hawk finally made a move but was not fast enough as Thumper darted into the woods.
