Police seeking Allen Avenue assault and robbery suspects

Incident occurred Monday, February 2nd, around 3:00 AM.

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspects in the attached photo and video (sent separately) who assaulted and robbed a man earlier this month.

At approximately 3 a.m., Monday, Feb. 2, a male was sitting in his car behind an address in the 400 block of North Allen Avenue when a group of males assaulted him. The suspects knocked on the car window, the victim opened the door and the group kicked and punched him. They then robbed him of cash and items.

The incident was captured on a surveillance camera.

The suspects fled on foot.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about the identity of anyone in the group to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
