Police seek Shell gas station robber

Incident took place on Monday around 4:38 PM at the Shell station on Jahnke.

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint yesterday afternoon.

He can be seen in the attached surveillance image.

At approximately 4:38 p.m. Monday, an unknown male walked into the Shell station at 6332 Jahnke Road and robbed the business at gunpoint. He was last seen running away from the area.

The suspect is described as a black male between age 20 and 25, 5’9” and weighing approximately 150 pounds.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Richmond Police Detective Jack Larry at (804) 646-1647 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
