Police seek robber of Westover Hill Boulevard Valero

Incident occurred around 9:55 PM on Wednesday night.

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a convenience store on the city’s south side.

At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, a man walked into the Fas Mart/Valero at 1201 Westover Hills Boulevard and robbed an employee at gunpoint.

The robber is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall, between 20 and 25 years of age. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants with a blue bandanna covering his face. He fled on foot with cash from the cash drawer. No one was injured.

Detectives ask anyone who can identify this man to please call Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
