Police seek Capitol Mac robber

Incident took place Saturday around 10:00 AM.

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify a man who walked into a Fan computer store and snatched four laptops.

He can be seen in the attached surveillance image.

At approximately 10 a.m. Saturday, an unknown white male walked into Capitol Mac at 1307 W. Main St., grabbed four laptops worth approximately $5,000 and ran from the store to a waiting car driven by an unknown female. The car is described as a gold-colored, older model Chrysler.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Richmond Police Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
