Police Investigate Pilot Travel Center Robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Pilot Travel Center at 2126 Ruffin Mill Road at about 2:45 a.m. today. Police said two masked men approached an employee outside and forced the victim inside a back door. Once inside, one suspect demanded a second employee take him to the safe. A second suspect forced employees and a customer to the floor at gunpoint before both suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Both suspects are thin, white males in their 20s. The both wore black masks and gloves and dark pants. The first suspect is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and wore a gray sweatshirt with a blue hood. The second suspect is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and wore a gray hooded sweatshirt.
