Police investigate bizarre weekend crash at Short Pump Town Center

A car jumped an SUV before crashing into another vehicle Saturday, Henrico Police say.

Parking was an issue near Short Pump Town Center over the weekend. Henrico Police and firefighters responded to this crash in the mall parking lot Saturday at about 1:30 p.m. The white car went airborne over the SUV and landed on the red car, Henrico Fire spokesman Danny Rosenbaum said.

Police don’t quite know just how the white car managed to jump the SUV and hit the red vehicle, and are looking for information. If you know (or saw) anything, call the Henrico Police nonemergency line at 804.501.5000.
