Parker C. Agelasto Running for Re-election to City Council

The City must become more effective and efficient with its limited resources.

I am honored to announce my intention to seek re-election as the 5th District City Council representative. I am fortunate to have the full support of my wife, Katherine, and my family in this decision. I have worked diligently, over the last few years, to understand the issues that come before City Council for a vote and to develop solutions to the challenges we face in our neighborhoods and to communicate regularly with constituents in our communities.

We are privileged to live in a district with tremendous diversity. I will continue to strengthen communication between stakeholders and across our neighborhoods. During this campaign, I look forward to a meaningful dialogue about the critical issues facing our city – public education, public works and public safety and helping the economically disadvantaged.

The City must become more effective and efficient with its limited resources. We need to expand job creation, workforce development, economic development and access to public transportation. Most importantly, I am committed to restoring transparency and trust in local government.

Together, we can and will move Richmond forward.
