Those anonymous leaders can set the tone. Step out, to use Crupi’s words. Write a letter to the editor of the Times-Dispatch, call Style Weekly, schedule an interview with the local media, pen a piece for RVANews, schedule a sit-down with one of the area’s more engaged weblogs. Come out of the shadows, and project your leadership. Inspire the community through your words and actions. If you want a new tone, set a new tone.

So hey, if you are a local bigshot and want to reach that ever-so-important creative class we’d love to work with you to publish your thoughts. Just email me at info@rvanews.com.
