Nominate someone to go ‘Over the Edge’

We need your help to nominate someone to rappel down the 400-foot SunTrust building for a great cause!!!

We’ve all looked at Spider-Man crawling up buildings and thought, “I wish I could do that!” We have some news for you.

On October 21, Over the Edge will be holding their 3rd annual event that will allow people to rappel off the 25-story, 400-foot SunTrust building downtown. This event, to raise money for Special Olympics Virginia, has quickly become one of the most enjoyable ways to see people become… better acquainted, we’ll say, with their acrophobia.

Now, to take part in this amazing event, one must raise $1,000. HOWEVER, we at RVANews are too chicken to go through with it, so we’re going to GIVE AWAY our spot. What you need to do is nominate someone who you find both deserving (AND WILLING) to rappel down the SunTrust building, and tell us why your person is the BEST person for the job.

Once all the nominees are in, our readers will vote for who they think is the best, most appropriate, most deserving person to take the plunge.
