Na Na Na Na Hey Hey-ey Goodbye to The Peppas band director
The search is on for a new band director. I’m hoping this new director has a last name of Salt or even Sault.
Every good song must come to an end and the same is true of band directors. RTD is reporting that Ryan Kopacsi, the director of the VCU band “The Peppas” will not be coming back next year.
A source close to the situation said Kopacsi’s decision not to return was because the sides couldn’t come to terms on salary for the band director.
There is no denying the nearly mythical success the band achieved under Kopacsi’s leadership. VCU has some tough shoes to fill.
