Mystery of missing 7-Eleven solved UPDATE: RTD has renderings

Thanks to Richmond BizSense.com we’ve got the answer.

Update #1 — July 18, 2016; 8:14 AM

A nice little update from RTD with details of the interior and this nice rendering of the exterior. It’s going to have “faux windows”, yay I guess. I walked by last week and they are making quick work of it so I fully believe they’ll make their open this summer goal.

To summarize the old 7-Eleven at 1003 W. Grace Street (seen above before the wrecking ball) was torn down to make room for a spiffy new 7-Eleven. Late night snackers can rejoice and know that soon their source of Slurpees and Slim Jims will be back. Those hoping for a free range, locally sourced, vegan, gluten free, snack emporium and brewery are out of luck.
