Murder on Carmine Street

Carmine Street Homicide Victim Identified
The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in a homicide that occurred yesterday (Saturday) evening in Whitcomb Court.
A few minutes before 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2300 block of Carmine Street for reports of shots fired and a person down. Upon arrival, they located two victims in a grassy area between apartment buildings. One victim, identified as Jaquan Clark, 18, of the 2800 block of Broad Rock Boulevard, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third victim was found a short distance away suffering from a gunshot wound. The two injured men were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are actively working all available leads in the case and continue to gather information about this incident as part of their ongoing investigation.
