The mumps outbreak recently reported at UR seems to have made it’s way to VCU:
The Richmond City Health Department has confirmed a case of mumps in the VCU community. […] Mumps is an acute viral disease that is transmitted from person-to-person through coughing and sneezing, but can also be spread through direct contact such as sharing drinks, or kissing.
It is being said that that there are a handful of cases:
The campus wide announcement today said less than 15 students are ill at this time, and less than 45 suspected or confirmed cases since January, including those that are currently ill.
