Morrissey cancels Richmond, North American tour dates

After suffering a series of medical setbacks, the singer announced he’s canceling his North American tour.

Morrissey’s upcoming Richmond performance, and the remainder of his North American tour, has been cancelled because of the singer’s medical issues, including a bleeding ulcer, esophageal problems, and double pneumonia.

“Despite his best efforts to try to continue touring, Morrissey has to take a hiatus and will not be able to continue on the rest of the tour,” read a statement on the singer’s Facebook page.” Morrissey thanks all of his fans for their well wishes and thoughts.
