More activity including drums on the Sugar Pad

Seriously one of the best views in all of Richmond.

Replenish Richmond wants to transform a concrete slab next to the James River into a viable public space and to raise awareness are holding events. These events give residents a glimpse at what could be in a spot that has one of the best views of downtown.

This Sunday, August 10th they’re planning a drum circle, open mic, and marshmallow roasting. In addition to the entertainment they’ll be discussion on what could become of the space including, shade, sundials, and future events. The beat starts at 7:30 PM.

The Sugar Pad is 4.985 acre property is currently owned by the City’s Public Works with a physical address of 3101 Wharf Street right along the James and before you get to Rocketts Landing.
