Man shot, killed Monday afternoon
Incident occurred in the Midlothian Village apartment complex near George Wythe High School at 6:25 PM.

According to ABC8 police have identified the victim as 21-year-old Develle L. Thomas. Thomas, of the 700 block of East 18th Street, died at the scene or gunshot wounds.

As seems usual very few details on this latest crime. What we do have is the following from RTD.
A man was shot and killed in South Richmond this afternoon, according to Richmond police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh.
Police were called to the Midlothian Village apartment complex near George Wythe High School at 6:25 p.m., where they found a man outside the apartments suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound, Waugh said. He died on the scene.Detectives are following strong leads in the case, Waugh said, adding that officers were on the scene, in the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike, in less than a minute.
