Man injured in shooting on Whitcomb Street

A man in his 20s was shot and wounded early today in the 2500 block of Whitcomb Street, according to Richmond police.
Officers responded about 1:43 a.m. to a report of shots fired in the Whitcomb Court public housing area and found the man, who was taken to VCU Medical Center with wounds that were not considered to be life threatening, a spokesman said.
