Local raw juice business squeezes into more farmers markets
Ginger Juice will soon start selling their locally-produced raw juice products at two additional locations.
A small raw juice business started by a local mom who just wanted her son to eat his vegetables is squeezing into a few more farmers markets around town.
Erin Powell, owner of Ginger Juice, said her three-year-old son, Sayer, wouldn’t eat his vegetables, but she found that he would drink them. So, she bought a high-powered juicer to blend them down.
And as they say, the rest is history.
Her raw, no-ingredients-added juice products, which she says she now sells over 300 bottles of per week collectively at the South of the James and St. Stephens Farmers Markets, are the first of their kind produced locally.
According to Powell’s website, the company plans to soon start selling their fresh fruit and vegetable juices at the Weinstein JCC and the Pure Barre fitness studio.
