Laptop stolen from car on W. Franklin

The laptop was left in plain site while the car was unattended.

Richmond Police report that an unknown person(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a laptop that was left in plain sight on the 4200 block of W. Franklin Street. This happened sometime during the evening of April 15th and the early morning of April 16th.

People! Keep tempting items out of your vehicle when you’re not in it. And if you feel so compelled to keep said items in your car at all times, be sure to tuck them away from the gazing eyes of would-be thieves.

Mmmmkay?

Had an ipad snatched a few weeks ago, it was peeking out from under the seat. I also had a 12 pack of nice beer in the trunk, they only stole two of them. Odd theft.
