Now that spring is officially upon us our local farmers’ market is in full swing. Open Wednesdays all day and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Lakeside Farmers’ Market ( 6110 Lakeside Ave.) is know for it’s fine selection of vegetables and fruits. The chickens never stop laying eggs, there are always the meats, canned goods, honey, cheese, milk and ice cream and hand crafted items.

There are many options for payment at the market. Always cash or check. Many vendors offer credit or debit at their booth. A Wells Fargo ATM is located beside the market at CVS. See the market manager for SNAP BENEFITS through EBT on Wednesdays before 11AM or after 2PM and on Saturday mornings.
