Jump on your velociped, penny-farthing or regular bicycle for the Fall Family Bike Ride
Let’s ride.
Grab your best costume (there will be a contest and prizes) and join us for a short (1.6 miles) fun, family bike ride hosted by Bike Walk Northside! We will travel as a group on existing and future bike lanes on Brookland Parkway and Brook Road (with cones to separate riders from traffic and volunteers posted along the way) as well as on quiet neighborhood streets.
Who: Kids and riders of all ages! Note: Kids should be accompanied by an adult. What: Food trucks, free bike adjustments, a bike rodeo, a group photo and
a costume contest (with prizes)!
When: Saturday, Oct 24*: Activities start at 1 pm; ride at 1:30 pm Where: The Westwood Tract (SW corner of Brook Rd and Westwood Ave)
