Inaugural Henrico Restaurant Week takes place April 11th-19th

Sample cuisine from over 30 local restaurants to benefit the Virginia Home for Boys & Girls.

A new event is encouraging folks to sample Henrico County’s diverse cuisine, and it’s all for a good cause.

Not to be outdone by Richmond Restaurant Week, Henrico County is hosting an event of its own. Henrico Restaurant Week, an event put on by community newspaper Henrico Citizen, takes place next week, April 11th through the 19th.

Over 30 businesses are participating in the inaugural event, from upscale restaurants like The Wine Loft to family staples like Chuck E. Cheese (yes–really).

Two course lunches are priced in two tiers at $10 or $15; three-course dinners are available at the $20, $25 or $30 price points.

Reservations are strongly recommended, according to organizers.

Much like Richmond Restaurant Week, Henrico Restaurant Week will also benefit a local charity. The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls will receive donations of $1 for each lunch sold; $2 for each dinner sold during the week.

To see the full list of participating businesses and restaurants, as well as their menus, visit the event page on the Henrico Citizen’s website.
