If you want to vote for a new local business to win $10,000 in i.e.‘s “Start-Up Competition”, you’re going to have to wait. Over a quarter of a million hits in three hours has crashed the voting page. As a result, i.e. has suspended online voting.

Here’s i.e.’s statement:

They added: “We thank you for your patience, flexibility and enthusiasm. We will be in touch shortly with more details and the new voting schedule.”
