The sun has come out and now it is time for us all to pretend that this is the year we’re going to actually garden. At least that is the way it plays out at our house. I’ve heard tale of other folks that actually follow through with those plans and produce plants that are edible or herbs that actually season.

The Maymont Herbs Galore & More taking place on Saturday, April 26th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM is the perfect opportunity for gardeners of both varieties to get started this year. Dozens of vendors from from all over the area will be set up on Maymont’s Carriage House Lawn with every sort of plant you can imagine and some you’ve never known you needed. Also in the mix will be herbal products, crafts, food carts, classes, and opportunities to talk with experts.

It’ll cost you $5 (free for Maymont members) to access all this plant madness. Details including vendor list, parking, and class schedule can be found online.
