Help cats and dogs do their laundry

Can you do a load of laundry for some pups? No ironing required.

Richmond Animal Care and Control (1600 Chamberlayne Ave.) is without their washer and dryer for 2 weeks but still have laundry piling up. They’ve put out a plea for help on Facebook and are asking folks to swing by and pick up a bag or two of laundry for you to wash. RACC is open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and both the animals and the humans that are there would be appreciative of any help you can give.

While you’re picking up laundry say hello to Liam, seen above.

This Boxer mix is a total lovebug. He’s about 10 months old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. As you can tell from these photos, he wants nothing more than a sweet family to play with and give him belly rubs.

Interested in adopting Liam? The cost is $100 which covers the spay/neutering, rabies, other vaccines, microchip, F/F, & heartworm tests. City residents still need to purchase a $10 City License.
