Grin and bear it while fence repairs occur
You think that headline is bad, you should read the rejected ones. Really you should, I’ve included them in this post.
Here is what Maymont had to say on the tree meets fence news.
Sorry to be the “bearer” of bad news, but Maymont’s bears will not be on view in their habitat for a while. A huge tree in the exhibit came down during the storm Thursday night, and it did significant damage to the perimeter fence. Please share with friends to spread the word. Those concerned about the bear can rest easy. They have “bedrooms” where they spend their evenings and during severe storms, weather, or times like this when work needs to go on in their enclosures.
