Greenleaf’s Pool Room set to open today

I fancy a game of pocket billiards.

On a personal level I’m very excited about Greenleaf’s Pool Room (6th & Franklin) opening up. I really wish they had a website or Facebook page that I could find to give you a bit of information. Instead we’ll rely on Karri Peifer’s article on Richmond.com.

“We want to be unique,” Gottier said. “We’re not a sports bar and we’re not a pool hall – we want to show the beauty and poetry of the game.”

Part of showing off that beauty includes free lunchtime lessons on Tuesdays and Sundays (and by appointment) on Greenleaf’s Brunswick pool tables.

Greenleaf’s Pool Room is scheduled to open today and is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.; Sundays, noon – midnight, and Mondays 11 – midnight.
