Good Morning, RVA: Find your umbrella

Rain–just regular, liquid, not-freezing rain.

Good morning, RVA! It’s 45 °F, and today’s high of 65 °F is somewhat dampened by a persistent chance of rain throughout the afternoon.

UCI, the folks in charge of The Big Bike a Race™, released a 227-page report (PDF) dealing with the “serious allegations of corruption made against UCI and its officials [and] allegations that it failed to apply and enforce its own anti-doping rules.” The report is part of a continued effort to clean up cycling’s image in this post-Lance Armstrong world–especially ahead of this year’s big event in Richmond. ESPN has more.

After six more weeks of winter, Richmond’s roads are a mess. WTVR reports that the Department of Public Works is working hard to fix and fill all of the new potholes cracking up our highways and byways–there’s one on Brook Road that could swallow a Fiat. Remember, you can use SeeClickFix to report potholes to the city.

The republican members of congress sent a super condescending open letter (PDF) to Iran, telling them that if they make any sort of deal with President Obama, the next–and in their theoretical future-world, republican–president could take it away. The Iranian Foreign Minister responded in a pretty great and equally condescending way. I was all LOLs about this until I remembered these negotiations are about nuclear weapons.

You can preorder your Watch on April 10th.. If you hadn’t already convinced yourself that you needed one before yesterday’s event, you probably walked away still unconvinced. Those gold MacBooks though

Inside The Post-Minecraft Life Of Billionaire Gamer God Markus Persson

What would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?

The results so far are unimpressive, as he’s mostly acted like a dog chasing cars. When Persson decided to buy a house in Beverly Hills, he went for a $70 million, 23,000-square-foot megamansion, the most expensive home ever in an enclave known for them. He’s become known for spending upwards of $180,000 a night at Las Vegas nightclubs. He and Mojang cofounder Jakob Porsér have started a company called Rubberbrain in case they think of a new game idea-but right now he can’t focus much on any.
