It’s #rvacouncil time!

It’s the most wonderful time of the month! Tonight At 6:00 PM, Richmond City Council meets, the public comments, the Twitters tweet! It’s all a very good time. We did a bit of explainer work on the agenda so you can have a leg up on your uninformed friends during your watch party tonight. You do host City Council watch parties, too? Right?

Hate how everyone in charge is not nearly as beautiful, smart, or charming as you? Be the change you want to see, and run for public office! All you’ve got to do is fill out about a trillion forms, get a couple of signatures, and hopefully not screw anything up along the way.

Murders continue on Chamberlayne

Over the weekend, Richmond police reported a double homicide on the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. Then, just this afternoon, they reported another fatal shooting–also on Chamberlayne and just one block from the double homicide.
