Four year old hit after running into traffic
Injuries are reported as minor.
NBC 12 is reporting that a 4 year old was hit by a pickup truck this morning.
The accident happened at the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Mechanicsville Turnpike just after 8 a.m. The boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the boy and his father were trying to cross the street when the boy got away from his father and ran into traffic. No charges are pending against the driver.
