Four Brothers Bistro and Grill headed to VCU

Philly cheese steaks, burgers, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, gyros, Reubens and turkey and tuna melts headed for Lombardy.

If there is one thing that the VCU is missing it’s definitely a place to get a sandwich for lunch. While that is more than a little sarcastic it’s not preventing another restauranteur from taking the plunge into an already crowded dining space. I take minor issue with calling the location the “heart of VCU” but that’s whole seperate discussion on neighborhood identity and advertising.

Richmond BizSense has the details on Nader Hagez plans to open Four Brothers Bistro & Grill at 711 N. Lombardy St.

He said the food at Four Brothers is inspired by his favorite delis in New York and Philadelphia. The menu will include Philly cheese steaks, burgers, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, gyros, Reubens and turkey and tuna melts. Beer will be available by the bottle.

“I’m a great fan of Carnegie Deli in New York,” Hagez said.
