Final Woodland Heights Food Truck Friday and Fall Festival on Sunday

So much to do in the neighborhood.

The weather has rained us out the last two Fridays, but things look more promising this week for our FINAL Food Truck Court of the season. Join us Friday night in the Woodland Heights Baptist Church parking lot (611 W. 31st St.) from 5:30 until about 8:00 for some great food, fellowship, and fun. It’s been a good season…don’t miss out on your last chance to dine with your neighbors and friends…or to grab one last Friday night meal.

Here are the trucks scheduled for October 9:

  • Happy Empanada (Serving gourmet empanadas and authentic Panamanian and Latin American cuisine)
  • Sammich (Paninis, various sides, and house-made ice cream)
  • Boardwalk – “Best Hot Dog on Wheels”
    …plus, for dessert…
  • Mr. Softee – “Premium soft serve ice cream sundaes, cones, banana splits, shakes, and more”)

It’s always a great time at Food Truck Fridays! Remember the basket to help our neighborhood Food Closet—help always needed, and always appreciated!

Fall Festival at WHBC this Sunday

Come join us at Woodland Heights Baptist Church (611 W. 31st St.) as we hold our annual Fall Festival this Sunday (October 11) from 4-6. We will have hayrides, crafts, games, face painting, a moonwalk, miniature pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, and FOOD–and it’s all free. Just drop on by and bring your kids!

The picnic with hamburgers and hot dogs and much more will begin at 5:00.

Hope to see your there!
