The RTD is reporting that Ellwood’s planned expansion to D.C. has hit a snag: Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market has backed out of a deal to open a store in Washington. The natural-foods grocer near Carytown terminated the lease it had signed with the developers of the DC USA retail project in Columbia Heights.
