East End Neighborhood Road Condition Crowdsourcing
Which roads are good to go?
The Richmond Snow Plowing Status Map is wonderful in theory. In reality it doesn’t seem to be accurate. I find it hard to believe that not a single route has been completed as shown above.
So let’s find out what’s going on out there and help each other out.
What streets do you know are plowed or treated? I can tell you that that my streets are still a mess and haven’t seen a plow or sand truck. That’s not entirely true a plow drove down our street but didn’t put his plow down so wasn’t very helpful.
In the comments tell us which roads are good to go and if you feel like it vent about the roads that are still snowed in.

Main is well plowed, Broad st is pretty good, 21st and 25th are ok, side streets not so much….
Main is clear; Cary St from 26th down to at least 20th (as far as we can see from the front of our building!) hasn’t been touched. 25th street between Main and Cary hasn’t been touched, either.
Over here in Fulton, Williamsburg Road is clear. We are in Montrose Heights and nothing here has been cleared. Assuming it’s probably about the same in all of Fulton.
I’m in Montrose, as well, and a plow has been by twice today (around 10am and just now, 5pm) spraying the street (and my car, grrr) in sand but not plowing. The snow/ice is rutted, and plowing would really help prevent little cars like mine from bottoming out.
Off Williamsburg Road behind Waffle House and Robertos. Nothing has been touched here! I hope they come tonight!
