Downtown shooting being investivated
The shooting was not lethal and occurred early this morning.
Richmond police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a man hospitalized.
The shooting occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the 600 block of East Grace Street, police said. The scene is not far from the start/finish line of the UCI Road World Championships at Fifth and Broad streets.
The man was shot was once or twice in the abdomen and transported to VCU Medical Center.
