UPDATE: Daily Show segment filmed at Baja Bean airs tonight

Later this evening, Richmond will be represented in a segment on The Daily Show. Producers of the show were in Richmond on Cinco de Mayo when President Obama appeared at the VCU Siegel Center.

Richmond.com is reporting that later this evening, The Daily Show will air a segment containing footage from last Saturday’s taping at Baja Bean. The show’s production staff were in Richmond because of President Obama’s appearance at the Siegel Center to kick-off his re-election campaign. The president’s visit coincided with Cinco de Mayo which prompted producers of the show to film at the Mexican restaurant.

The Daily Show airs on Comedy Central at 11pm.
