Community Conversation about Barton Heights

Learn about the history of Barton Heights.

The Valentine has lead an ongoing series of Community Conversations in various neighborhoods across Richmond. Tomorrow on May 5th the discussion turns to Barton Heights. The talk takes place from 6 – 8:00 PM at the Valentine, 1015 E. Clay Street.

The walking tour will take place on May 9th. The tour is $15 per person, $5 for Valentine Members and children ages 12 and under. Tour guides accept cash or check. Charge in advance online or by phone.

Join the Valentine as it collaborates with Richmond Magazine, Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) and TMI Consulting to offer the fifth iteration of the “Community Conversations” series. This year will feature monthly discussions about various Richmond localities spanning from Highland Park to Forest Hill. Each conversation will feature panelists who will participate in the discussions to help create a comprehensive view of the history of the selected neighborhood and how it was molded into the place that we see it as today.

Event to be held at the Valentine, located at 1015 E. Clay Street, Richmond, VA 23220. Parking available in the Valentine’s lot off of 10th Street.
