Carytown Watermelon Festival serves up family fun
Crowds of Richmonders packed the streets of Carytown on Sunday, all to celebrate the 27th Carytown Watermelon Festival.
The day brought on more than just cold bowls of chopped watermelon for just $1. In fact, every nook and cranny of the merchant district offered some form of entertainment. From live music and shopping, to moon bounces and balloon animals for the kids, the annual festival stayed true to its word and dished out a great day for family fun.
Take a look at some shots we got of the fun yesterday… and be sure to let us know how you think this Richmond festival staple fared in 2010.
