Capital One invests in George Wythe

Nearly $100,000 in new furniture and 70 computers for the library and media center.

From Councilman Parker C. Agelasto’s Facebook we hear of good news for the students at George Wythe.

It was a banner day at George Wythe High School today! Thanks to Capital One for the investment of nearly $100,000 in new furniture and 70 computers for the library and media center. Dozens of volunteers helped to paint and clean this important learning space and to convert a portion into a career and college readiness area. While this celebration was happening, the news broke that the State Board of Education has accredited GWHS for this academic year. Congratulations to the students, teachers, and administrators for this improvement. Thank you Principal Reva Green.
