Building fire closes part of Main Street
NBC12 first posted about the fire at 12:50 PM.
NBC12 is reporting a lunchtime fire across from Main Street Station.
A fire at a vacant building across from Main Street Station closed parts of Shockoe Bottom Tuesday.
Main Street was closed between 14th and 17th streets as Richmond Fire crews responded to the situation. Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
Officials haven’t said what caused the fire or the extent of the damage.
