Author Holly Moore book signing at Urban Farmhouse

Some young loves are too resilient to be broken, but will their bond be strong enough to withstand Darry’s horrible past?

Richmond resident and author Holly Moore will be at the Urban Farmhouse Market & Cafe (1217 E. Cary Street) from 2-4 PM on December 6th to sign copies of her romance novel, The River.

About The River

Seventeen years old and straight-laced, Kellan is preparing to spend her usual spring break at her family vacation home on the Rappahannock river. Along with not being able to decide what to do when she graduates from high school she is beginning to feel the itch to pull away from the comfort of her parents and spread her wings on her own. She is preparing for a relaxing and most likely boring week on the water when she sees the new, older boy standing at the nearby horse stables.

Darry, the new and intriguing boy living just a few doors away, seems like a normal enough kid but he is silently carrying around a heavy burden of his own. Despite his aloofness and being a little older than Kellan, they strike up a friendship, quickly followed by a young but real romance. They seem perfect for each other even though Darry is hiding a dark secret that could cost him everything and Kellan is battling her parents and her own insecurities about growing up. The only thing they seem to know for sure is their love for one another.
