Arrest made in North 29th Street stabbing

At approximately 7:41 a.m. on June 4, officers were called to the 1800 block of North 29th Street for a report of a stabbing.

The Richmond Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that took place last Saturday in the Woodville neighborhood.

Vincent R. Johnson, 57, of the 1800 block of North 29th Street, was arrested this afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force and charged with felonious assault. His booking photo will be released once it is available.

At approximately 7:41 a.m. on June 4, officers were called to the 1800 block of North 29th Street for a report of a stabbing. They quickly located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to non-life-threatening.
