Little over a year ago today a murder occurred in Midlothian but the tragedy began at the storage facility off of Jahnke Road.
In a new plea for information in the June, 27, 2013, killing, a Chesterfield Crime Solvers detective said in a news release that the victim’s wife was at a storage unit off Jahnke Road in Richmond just after midnight that same day.
She was approached by three males (image seen above) who adducted the woman and forced her to drive to the Bristol Village Apartments at North Woolridge and Coalfield roads, where the suspects entered her family’s residence and began ransacking the interior.
As the woman pleaded for her daughter’s safety, her husband – 32-year-old Abdelmagied Elsayed Hussein — was awakened by the commotion and “physically challenged” the intruders before being shot about 4 a.m., police said
That is not the only connection. The suspects fled the scene and eventually set the victim’s car on fire near Byrd Park.
