The Richmond Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in finding the person or persons responsible for a shooting that critically injured a 10-year-old boy early this morning.
Richmond Police are investigating the shooting that took place around 12:35 a.m. in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street. The child was struck by a bullet from a distance as he was returning home with his family. He was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about this shooting or the persons involved is asked to call the Richmond Police Tips Line at 514-TIPS (8477) or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
